 Resources : Homeowner's Association

What is a Homeowner's Association?
A Homeowner's Association is a non-profit corporation that has been formed and organized to serve and represent property owners who own a proportionate share of common ground real estate with improvements (your home).
This association is responsible, among several duties, for establishing an annual budget for the purpose of the administration, operation, and maintenance of the common property.

Am I a member?
Yes, all homeowners are members.

Why is the Homeowner's Association important to me?
This association is responsible for items such as common ground maintenance, building care or repair, driveway and parking area attention, garbage service just to name a few. It general, any building structure, exterior, or common grounds issue is the responsibility of the Homeowner's Association. It's your quality control. It's your comfortable environment! It is nice to have someone else take care for these things!

How much are the monthly association dues?

Cardinal Creek $100
All Others $65

This fee has been established by a proposed budget that pays for the following for your benefit:
  • Maintenance of common areas, to include all rubbish pick-up
  • Driveway and road maintenance.
  • Swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball grounds, palapa, bike and hiking trails
  • Management and administrative service of Homeowner's Association

Purpose:
The La Bota Ranch Homeowner's Association among other goals hopes to promote fellowship, unity, and a sense of belonging to an organization that cares about our neighborhood and the investment value we all have in our homes.
Though our legal recourse to enforce the rules of the association will be very limited, it is our desire to encourage all homeowners to act in good faith in following the guidelines set forth in our by-laws. Unless the neighborhood and our entranceways are maintained in a neat and unified manner, our property values and resale potential will not keep pace with other surrounding subdivisions.
